Chattanooga Lady Mocs Basketball - Postgame Quotes
Chattanooga at College of Charleston
Carolina First Arena - Charleston, S.C.

Head Coach Wes Moore
On fighting back late in the game.
"We made a couple of runs at them, but it was a frustrating game. For whatever reason - probably a lot of it has to do with College of Charleston's defense - we have not shot the ball well here the last couple of years and have not played well here. They want the score to be low and they kept it at their tempo. You have to give them a lot of credit. Tough one to lose, no doubt."
Thoughts on the game:
"You look at the stats and they outscored us 24-10 in the paint and 18-5 off of turnovers. You have to give them credit. They did what they needed to do. They pounded it inside or attacked. They did a great job of creating turnovers that led to some buckets."
On their pressure defense:
"We have not handled pressure very well. They extended their defense and did a great job of getting into the passing lanes. They did a great job on Whitney Hood, pushing her out of the blocks where she is less comfortable."
On the tough shooting night:
"Again, give them a lot of credit, but we were definitely not ourselves. We had a couple of starters 1-8, 1-7...we have to shoot the ball better. We were trying everything. I had not planned on playing Taylor Hall, but when you are on a pace that ends up scoring 22 points in the second half, you have to try everything you have, throw stuff out there and hope it sticks."
