TEAM
- The Lady Mocs drop an overtime game 77-69 to Georgia Southern...UTC falls to 3-7 overall and 1-2 in SoCon action...Chattanooga is 1-2 in league play for the first time since 2001-02...it is also the first back-to-back SoCon losses for UTC since 2001-02.
- UTC has a five-game winning streak vs. Georgia Southern snapped.
- Georgia Southern was a perfect 3-3 from the field, 1-1 from 3-pt. range and 7-7 from the FT line in overtime...UTC went 1-8 from the field and 0-2 from behind the arc in the extra frame.
- This game featured 10 ties, 14 lead changes and neither team led by more than the final eight-point margin.
Lady Mocs in Overtime
- Drops to 19-17 overall, 10-10 in SoCon games.
- First OT game since falling 81-76 at Kentucky on March 19, 2009 in the WNIT.
- Second time they have gone OT with Georgia Southern...last time was an 87-85 loss on Jan. 2, 1999 in McKenzie Arena.
- This is the second meeting between these two teams in two weeks...UTC posted an 87-80 win on Dec. 4...the season series is wrapped up before Christmas due to a scheduling change...the game in Chattanooga was moved up to Dec. 4 for television.
- Chattanooga set a SoCon record with 16 3-pt. FGs on Dec. 4...The Eagles put on a shooting clinic of their own, hitting eight 3-pointers (8-13, 61.5%) in the first half today...Mimi Dubose led the way, hitting 5-8 from deep in the first half.
- UTC adjusted its defense the rest of the game as the Eagles only made three from behind the arc in the second half and overtimes ...Dubose only scored two points in the second half and overtime combined.
- The Eagles finished the game 11-19 from 3-pt. range (57.9%)...they were just 14-42 (33.3%) from inside the arc.
- UTC shot 6-21 (28.6%) from 3-pt. range.
- The Lady Mocs had 20 turnovers in the game, the most since coughing it up 22 times at No. Tennessee on Nov. 15.
- Chattanooga outscored the Eagles 30-14 in the paint, but Georgia Southern held a 25-15 advantage in points off of turnovers.

- 4-8 from the field, 2-2 from 3-pt. range.
- Tied a career-high with three assists.
- Career-high 25 minutes.
- 5-7 from 3-pt. range in last four games.
Junior Whitney Hood
- Game-high 22 points.
- Shot 9-18 from the field, 4-5 from the FT line.
- Game-high and career-high 13 rebounds
- Third double-double of the year.
- Sixth game of the year with 20+ points.
Sophomore Kylie Lambert
- 11 points on 4-10 shooting, 1-4 from 3-pt. range and 2-3 from the FT line.
- Hit a three with .2 seconds left in regulation for tie the score at 63 and force overtime.
- Added eight rebounds.
Junior Tenisha Townsend
- Four points on 2-8 shooting.
- Tied a career-high with a game-high seven assists.
- Career-high 42 minutes.
