TEAM
- The Lady Mocs posted a 92-62 win over Samford to clinch the No. 1 seed in the SoCon Tournament. It was the regular season finale for both teams tonight. UTC improved to 21-8 and 16-4 in the SoCon. Samford fell to 20-9 and 14-6 in league play.
- This is the second time the Lady Mocs have clinched the league title with four losses...the last time they did it was 2001-02 when they went 14-4 in SoCon action...those are the only times the SoCon has been won by a team with four losses in league play.
- UTC's 30-point win was a 52-point turnaround from its 74-52 loss at Samford on Nov. 30. It was also the Lady Mocs' largest win of the season.
- Chattanooga shot a season-high 57.7% (30-52) from the field...the 92 points and 30 field goals were also season-highs.
- The Lady Mocs outrebounded Samford 47-21...Samford's 21 boards is a season-low for a UTC opponent.
- UTC had a season-high 19 assists on its 30 field goals tonight.
- Chattanooga hit a season-high 12 3-pt. FGs on just 22 attempts (54.5%)...the Lady Mocs were 8-11 from 3-pt. range in the second half.

Freshman Kayla Christopher
- Scored 12 points on 4-9 shooting, 3-7 from 3-pt. range and 1-2 from the FT line
- First time in double-figures in three games
Freshman Erin Helton
- Career-high 17 points to lead the team
- Shot 6-9 from the field, 1-1 from 3-pt. range and 4-4 from the FT line
- Grabbed a game-high nine rebounds
Senior Shanara Hollinquest
- 16 points on 5-8 shooting and 6-9 from the FT line
- Broke her single-season FTs made record...has 160 on the year
- Her 477 career FTs made extends her school record
Senior Megan Rollins
- Tied a career-high with 13 points on 5-6 shooting and 3-4 from 3-pt. range
- Her three 3-pt. FGs is a career-high
- 5-9 from 3-pt. range in the last two games
Sophomore Tenisha Townsend
- Tied a career-high with 13 points
- Shot 5-7 from the field and 3-5 from 3-pt. range
- Three 3-pt. FGs is a career-high.
- Third game in double-figures this season
Senior Jenaya Wade-Fray
- Scored eight points, seven rebounds and a career-high nine assists
- Nine assists are the most by a Lady Moc this season
