On today's game ... "Reading the stats, I didn't realize that we had five players in double figures. You know, Tenisha Townsend did a great job. Kayla Christopher did a great job on Amanda Leigh, who is a great three-point shooter. She (Christopher) held her (Leigh) to only six points. Michelle Davis came off the bench with four three-pointers."
On Shanara Hollinquest ... "With Shanara, what do you say there? Another double-double. 24 points we just want to keep giving it to her all we can."
On UNCG ... "They are very athletic on the perimeter. We were fortunate they got into foul trouble early, but they put a lot of pressure on you on both ends of the floor. They make it tough for you to get to rim. They make it tough for you to run your stuff. Offensively, they can get to the rims themselves. I think with them having played already, they had an advantage, especially in the first half because they have the tournament jitters out of the way. They're coming off a win and had some momentum. All of that does concern you when you are playing your first game."
On next game ... "Either one of them (Georgia Southern/College of Charleston) will present a challenge. Obviously, C of C beat us a few weeks ago. Georgia Southern, again, is a very athletic team. Their coach always has them prepared. Either way it's gonna be tough. This league has gotten a whole lot better."
