- Chattanooga wins its 13th Southern Conference Tournament Championship with a 72-67 win over Samford today...Lady Mocs improve to 24-8 on the year...Samford falls to 22-9.
- Lady Mocs improve to 13-0 in SoCon Tournament Finals.

- Improve to 8-0 in SoCon Tournament Finals
- Make eighth trip to the NCAA Tournament
- Moore improves to 490-140 (.778) in his 21-year career...290-84 (.775) in 12 seasons at UTC
- This will be Moore's 15th trip to the NCAA Tournament in his career...five a Maryville (DIII), two at Francis Marion (DII) and eight at UTC
- Leading 22-11, UTC let Samford go on a 22-6 run to take control of the first half. Paige Anderson hit a three to give Samford a 33-28 lead with 2:42 left in the first period.
- Lady Mocs trailed 38-30 at the break...UTC improved to 5-5 on the year when trailing at the half.
- UTC Trailed 50-39 after a 3-pt. FG from Savannah Hill at the 13:11 mark...Lady Mocs went on a 17-4 run to take control of the game...freshman Michelle Davis gave Chattanooga a 56-54 lead with 3:04 left in the game...UTC did not trail for the rest of the game.
- Samford came into the game with a 22-0 mark when leading with five minutes left in the game...the Bulldogs led 54-51 at the five minute mark.
- Samford's Savannah Hill scored 26 points in the game...its is the most points the Lady Mocs have allowed an individual this season.
- Samford dominated the paint, outscoring UTC 34-18.
- Samford led in points off of turnovers 15-6 at halftime...UTC did not allow a single point off a turnover in the second half.
- UTC had 10 turnovers in the first half...only five in the second half.
- UTC held Samford to just 2-12 shooting from 3-pt. range in the second half.

Freshman Kayla Christopher - 1st Team All-Tournament
- Scored 11 points on 3-6 shooting, 3-5 from 3-pt. range and 2-2 from the FT line
- 3-3 from behind the arc in the first six minutes of the game
- 11.3 ppg for the tournament
Freshman Michelle Davis - 2nd Team All-Tournament
- 16 points on 6-12 shooting, 4-9 from 3-pt. range
- Go-ahead 3-pt. FG with 3:04 left in the game gave UTC a 56-54 lead..pair of 3's in the last 3:04 of the game
- Grabbed four boards
- Tied a season-high with four 3-pt. FGs
- 14.7 ppg and 6.0 rpg in the tournament
- 12-21 (57.1%) from 3-pt. range in the tournament
- 16-30 (53.3%) from the field in the tournament
Senior Shanara Hollinquest - Tournament MVP
- Scored 22 points on 4-8 shooting, 14-14 from the FT line
- 14-14 from the FT line sets a UTC record for most FTs without a miss
- Also grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds for her 17th double-double of the season...32nd of her career
- 63 points (21 ppg) in the tournament
- 21-34 (61.8%) from the field in the tournament

- 179 FTs in 2009-10 extends her UTC single-season record

Senior Jenaya Wade-Fray - 2nd Team All-Tournament
- Scored 11 points on 4-10 shooting, 2-5 from 3-pt. range and 1-2 from the FT line
- Added nine rebounds
- 11.3 ppg and 8.3 rpg in the tournament
- 7-13 (53.8%) from 3-pt. range in the tournament
- Has 60 3-pt. FGs this season...passed Brooke Hand (2004-05) and Katasha Brown (2003-04) for ninth most in a season at UTC.
