TEAM
- The Lady Mocs fall to Elon 74-61...UTC falls to 7-9 on the year and 4-3 in SoCon play...Elon improves to 9-5 overall and 4-2 in the SoCon.
- This is Elon's first win in McKenzie Arena...UTC was 7-0 at home against Elon all time.
- This is the second win in the series for Elon...UTC still holds a 14-2 advantage, but the Phoenix has won two of the last three...the 74-61 margin is the biggest win in the series for Elon.
- UTC opened the game with a 15-4 run, capped by a Whitney Hood lay-in at 14:17...Chattanooga then went more than eight minutes without a field goal as Elon closed the gap to 17-13...UTC went 0-9 with four TOs in that stretch.
- UTC led 30-28 at the break...it is just the second time the Lady Mocs have lost when leading at the half...5-2 overall.
- Lady Mocs are just 1-9 when they don't score 70+ points.
- Chattanooga was outscored 38-24 in the paint and 15-9 on second chance points...Elon's bench also outscored UTC's reserves 25-9.
- Chattanooga was outrebounded 48-26 in the game, including 16-8 on the offensive glass.
- Game time was changed from 6:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) to 3:00 p.m. due to 4-6 inches of snow in the Chattanooga area on Monday.
- Elon shot 19-26 (73.1%) from the FT line...the Lady Mocs only went to the line eight times, hitting five (62.5%)...Elon's FT attempts and makes were both season-highs for a UTC opponent.
- Lady Mocs had a season-high 11 steals.

Junior Bailey Dewart
- 10 points on 4-12 shooting, 2-7 from 3-pt. range.
- Added seven boards.
- Career-high five steals...most by a Lady Moc since Jenaya Wade-Fray had five against Wofford on 12/9/09.
Junior Whitney Hood
- Scored a game-high 21 points.
- Shot 10-16 from the field and 1-3 from the FT line.
- Grabbed six rebounds while dishing out six assists.
Sophomore Kylie Lambert
- Seven points on 2-8 shooting, 1-5 from 3-pt. range.
- Tied a career-high with three blocks.
- Seven of her nine blocks on the year have come in the last three games.
