Women's Basketball Head Coach Wes Moore
Opening statement:
"You got to give Elon all the credit.  They came in here hungry and wanted it.  When you get out-rebounded 48-26, that says a lot about the other teams' ability to get excited about playing and make things happen.  We just didn't do that.  Very disappointed in the fact they were the aggressor."

Lady Mocs' Intensity in the 2nd Half:
"I know I'm not playing as many people as I need to.  Just right now, I feel like some of our freshmen...experience-wise, basketball IQ-wise, need some work.  It's a Catch-22, do you throw the inexperience out there or do you take the risk of your frontline players being tired or worn out?  I would say that could be a part of it, but they (Elon) were quicker to the ball pretty much the entire game.  I don't know that I can blame it all on fatigue."

Rebounding and Shooting Woes:
"We didn't shoot the ball well.  When we go 8-28 from the 3-pt line, that affects us.  We have to try and get some better looks for our guards.  What makes it tough too is when the other team is scoring, then you're not able to get anything off transition.  We'd like to be able to get some stops and get some open looks before the D can match up.  Unfortunately, we kept giving up offensive rebounds and they kept scoring or getting to the free throw line, which gave them an opportunity to set up their D and took away any open looks for us."

Upcoming road swing through Davidson, App State and Samford:
"Murders row, it's going to be tough.  We're going to get everyone's 'A' game.  I don't care where your picked, what your record is, when you've this thing 11 years in a row, you're going to see everyone's best.  If you don't match that effort, match that intensity, then you're in for a long day.

Senior Bailey Dewart
On the game:
"I think that we got out-hustled and out-rebounded. We definitely did not box out and when we did, then we did not go get the ball. That was a huge factor. They got a lot of second chances."

On the events that have taken place over the last day (snow, game time change):
"It doesn't really bother me. We just did not come out ready in that second half. That really hurt us."

Junior Whitney Hood
On getting off to a quick start:
"I felt like the second half we came out kind of sluggish. In the first half, we were ready. We got too many easy shots and did not go for the offensive rebounds as much as we usually do, which hurt us a lot."

On them being the aggressor:
"They were. We did not help each other as much as we did the last couple of games. They missed shots, but we did not rebound. We either fouled or gave up two points."
