- Lady Mocs defeat Davidson 53-51 to improve to 8-9 on the year, 5-3 in SoCon play...Davidson falls to 5-9 overall and 1-5 in SoCon play.
- Junior Bailey Dewart hit a long FG at the buzzer to give the Lady Mocs the win...Dewart was 1-9 from the floor in the game prior to that final shot.
- Davidson opened on a 20-8 run in the first nine minutes of the game...UTC went 0-6 from 3-pt. range in that stretch...Chattanooga closed the gap to 27-24 at the break...Lady Mocs hit five of their last eight attempts from three-point range in the first half.
- It is just the second win of the year for UTC when trailing at the half...they trailed Wofford 52-41 at the break before winning 93-88 on Jan. 2.
- UTC went scoreless in first 3:30 of the second half as Davidson opened a 30-24 lead...two FTs from Whitney Hood stopped the drought at the 16:26 mark.
- Lady Mocs went nearly five minutes to start the second half without the bucket...first FG was a three-pointer from Kayla Christopher at 15:06 to pull within three at 32-29.
- Chattanooga improves to 28-8 all-time against Davidson...Lady Mocs have won three straight in the series, including 23 of the last 24.
- This is the first win of the year for Chattanooga when scoring less than 66 points...UTC is now 2-9 when scoring less than 70 points this season.
- Lady Mocs tied a season-low with seven free throw attempts, hitting four...in contrast, Davidson was 15-20 (75.0%) from the FT line.
- Davidson had 12 steals in the game...tying a season-high (at Tennessee) for a Lady Mocs' opponent.
- Chattanooga's bench outscored the Wildcats' reserves 15-6.
