Mocs Tied for 10th Through Two Rounds at Bettie Lou Evans Invitational

LEXINGTON, Ky. --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team moved up five spots into a tie for 10th Saturday at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational. Chattanooga shot 310, tying for the fourth-best round of the day.
The Mocs were paced by freshman Michaela Gasplmayr (Ebenfurth, Austria) with a 76 (+4). She vaulted into the top 20 individually tied for 16th with a 36-hole total of 159.
Mette Kryger (Nivaa, Denmark) and Marion Duvernay (Publier, France) matched scores for the second day in a row with twin 77s. The duo is tied for 26th at 160.
Jordan Britt (Chattanooga, Tenn.) is now tied for 38th at 164. Maria Juliana Loza is tied for 57th at 166.
UCF extended its lead to five shots at 616 after the low round of the day with a 305. The Knights lead host Kentucky at 621 and third-place Michigan at 632. Just nine strokes separate the Wolverines and Mocs.
Kaitlyn Price (UCF) is the new leader after a 76 today moves her to six-over par, 150. Ashleigh Albrecht (Kentucky) and first-round leader Samantha Sloan (Illinois) are a shot back in second.
Sunday's final round is a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The Mocs tee off holes 10, 11 and 12. Live scoring can be accessed at the link above or on the women's golf schedule page on GoMocs.com.
