Mocs Are in 17th Heading into Final 18 Holes

WILMINGTON, N.C. --- The Chattanooga Mocs are in 17th with one round to play at the Landfall Tradition on the Country Club of Landfall. Chattanooga shot 328 Saturday and is four shots ahead of host UNC Wilmington.
Purdue leads the event at 607 passing first round leader, No. 3 Auburn. The Tigers are second at 609 followed by No. 15 Duke in third at 617.
UTC is just one shot behind Northwestern and Ole Miss which are tied in 15th with a two-day total of 636. The Mocs are just three strokes out of 13th where Virginia and Tulane are tied at 633.
Marion Duvernay is low for Chattanooga at 157, tied for 33rd. She is followed by Mette Kryger (Nivaa Denmark) who is tied for 43rd at 158. Kryger's 80 was low for the Mocs in the second round.
Maria Juliana Loza (Bucaramanga, Colombia) is tied for 64th at 161. Michaela Gasplmayr (Ebenfurth, Austria) and Jordan Britt (Chattanooga, Tenn.) round out the squad with totals of 166 and 168, respectively.
An 8:45 a.m., shotgun start awaits as Chattanooga is paired with Ole Miss and UNCW. The schools start on holes 16 (Duvernay), 17 (Loza/Kryger) and 18 (Britt/Gasplmayr). Live scoring can be accessed at the link above or on the women's golf schedule page on GoMocs.com.
