Chattanooga at Baylor
Waco, Texas
Sunday - Nov. 13, 2011
Head Coach Wes Moore
Thoughts on the game:
"There was a time when I felt like we could go in and play the No. 1 team in the country and not back down, compete, battle and they would know they were in a game by the end of the day. We have gotten away from that point. My job and my goal and motivation is to get back to that point. When you play Chattanooga - I don't care if it is the No. 1 team in the country - you are going to at least know you were in a game. I believe we can do that, we have done that. We have to find out if this group can do that.
On the lack of intensity in the game
"We were just totally intimidated. We shied away from it and backed away from it and they took it to us and just rammed it right at us. It is obviously disappointing. We are going to get there at some point, but this group has to decide they want to get there right now and this year. This can either be us hitting a wall and saying 'we can't do this' or a situation that we don't want to go through again. I challenged them in the locker room and we will found out. We have some talent on this team, but we have to have more fight and more heart."
On the balanced play of Baylor:
"In the first half, (Brittney) Griner only had seven points and other people hurt us. In the second half she hurt us. They are a great team."
