TEAM
- The win gives UTC a 5-3 non-conference record with just one more out of conference game remaining in the regular season - UTK: Jan. 3, 2012 in Knoxville .... Lady Mocs improve to 8-3 overall and East Tennessee state falls to 1-11 overall.
- UTC is now 48-21 against ETSU and 3-2 against the Lady Bucs since ETSU left the SoCon after the 2004-05 season ... The win was UTC's 20th on the road against ETSU
- It is the sixth straight win for UTC ... this is the first six-game winning streak for UTC since winning 13 straight in the 2009-10 season.
- With UTC leading 71-70 with three minutes to play, the Lady Mocs outscored ETSU 17-10 ... Chattanooga went 10-of-12 from the free throw line in that time.
- UTC made 25-of-33 free throws (75.8%), the most made and attempted this season ... four players were perfect from the charity stripe ... UTC made 84.2% (16-of-19) of its free throw attempts in the second half after making just 9-of-14 (64.3%) in the first half.
- UTC shot 65.4 percent (17-of-26) from the field in the second half after shooting 34.4% in the first half ... UTC's 48.3% performance was its second best this season behind a 52.3% performance against UAB ... Chattanooga was 5-of-9 from the 3-point line in the second half (55.6%) after a 16.7% performance (2-of-12) in the first half.
- UTC's 88 points is the most scored by the Lady Mocs this season
- The lead changed six times in the game with six ties ... Chattanooga never trailed in the second half, but the Lady Bucs did record the sixth tie of the game with 2:57 to play on a layup from Gwen Washington.
- The 80 points allowed to ETSU was the second most points scored by a UTC opponent this season ... No. 1 Baylor scored 91 points against UTC on Nov. 13 in Waco, Texas.
- ETSU made 17 free throws on 23 attempts - both UTC opponent highs for the season ... The 73.9 percent performance was second best by a UTC opponent this season (WCU, 7-of-8)
- Third consecutive game with 10 or fewer turnovers
- Five players scored in double figures for the first time since Feb. 12, 2011 vs. Davidson

Sophomore Meghan Downes
- Career-high 19 points 18 minutes off the bench
- Shot 7-of-11 from the field, 4-of-6 from 3-point range and 1-for-1 from free throw line
- Four 3-pointers is a career-high
- Added on offensive rebound and two assists
Senior Whitney Hood
- Second highest scoring output this season with 17 points
- 9-for-9 from free throw line ... sixth on the UTC list for free throws made without a miss
- Shot 4-of-8 from the field ... added five rebounds, one assist and one steal
- 714 points scored at UTC ... 1,109 over her career at UTC and Clemson
Junior Kayla Christopher
- Shot 8-of-8 from the free throw line ... ninth on the all-time list at UTC for most free throws made without a miss ... tied career-high for made free throws
- Scored 13 points on 2-of-5 shooting, 1-of-4 from 3-point line ... added two assists
- Has 120 points this season, 789 for her career ... 139 career 3-pointers, needs six more to reach seventh on the UTC all-time list
Sophomore Taylor Hall
- Recorded a game-high 11 rebounds ... just missed a double-double with eight points
- Made 4-of-6 free throws in the final three minutes (4-for-8 for the game) ... four made free throws ties career-high
- Ranked first in the SoCon for rebounding (8.6/game) and defensive rebounds (6.3/game)
- Added one assist and one blocked shot
Junior Kylie Lambert
- Sixth game this season with double figure scoring ... scored 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting, 1-of-2 from 3-point line ... added three rebounds, 1 assist and one blocked shot
Sophomore Faith Dupree
- Scored two points and tied career-best for rebounds in 10 minutes in just her fourth game with UTC.
Sophomore Alex Black
- One of five UTC players in double figures ... scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting, 1-of-2 from 3-point line, 1-of-2 from free throw line
- Added five rebounds, two assists and a game-high two steals.
