TEAM
- The Lady Mocs dropped a 57-56 SoCon game to Appalachian State tonight...UTC falls to 13-13, 10-7 in SoCon action...the Mountaineers improved to 21-4, 15-2 in the SoCon.
- The Lady Mocs were 9-31 (29.0%) from behind the arc...the 31 attempts were the second most this season...Chattanooga was 8-20 (40.0%) in the first half and 1-11 (9.1%) in the second half....the nine threes made are the second-most allowed by ASU this season.
- Chattanooga shot a season-low 31.3% (20-64) from the field...the Lady Mocs' two lowest shooting games have come against the Mountaineers this season (32.2% (19-59) at ASU on Jan. 16).
- The Lady Mocs held Appalachian State to a season-low 57 points...they came into the game leading the SoCon in scoring 75.7 ppg.
- ASU outscored the Lady Mocs 32-16 in the paint.
- The game went back-and-forth with five ties and 11 leads changes.
- UTC lead 54-53 with 2:00 minutes left in the game...this is the Lady Mocs' first loss when leading with two minutes on the clock (11-1).
- The Lady Mocs were just 7-13 (53.8%) from the FT line while ASU was 9-12 (75.0%)

Sophomore Kayla Christopher
- 10 points on 3-11 shooting, 2-7 from 3-pt. range and 2-3 from the FT line.
- Added four assists and no turnovers in 34 minutes.
- Tied for game-high in assists.
Freshman Taylor Hall
- Career-high and game-high 11 rebounds...seven offensive.
- Added eight points.
- Shot 3-12 from the field and 2-4 from the FT line.
- Career-high for shots.
Junior Whitney Hood
- Eight points on 3-8 shooting, 2-3 from the FT line.
- Only the second time this season held under 10 points...both times have been in last four games.
- Leads the SoCon with 19.0 ppg.
Sophomore Kylie Lambert
- Team-high 11 points on 4-14 shooting, 2-6 from 3-pt. range and 1-2 from the FT line.
- Added nine rebounds.
- Tied for game-high with four assists.
