Final Round
- Chattanooga is ranked No. 32 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index, No. 34 on Golfstat and is receiving votes in the Golf World/NGCA Coaches Poll.
- UTC won its 10th team title in just under four years as a program...3rd title of 2010-11, all three have come in last four events...Team was dis-banded in mid 1980s and re-started 2007-08 when it won four times.
- The Mocs played with East Carolina and Campbell...Beat Campbell by 13 and ECU by 20 today.
- Chattanooga is one of three SoCon teams in the field with Elon and UNC Greensboro...The Mocs are 11-0 against SoCon competition this season...Topped UNCG by 60 strokes and Elon by 77.
- The Mocs dominated a field of 18 that included six 2010 NCAA Regional squads and two more teams that posted an individual [Chattanooga, Campbell, East Carolina, Illinois State, James Madison (Ind.), Maryland, USF (Ind.), Stetson].
- Front Nine (Counters by Round): -1 (+5/-4/-2)...Emma de Groot was -2 at the turn today...de Groot played the front side at -3 for three rounds, Christine Wolf -2.
- Back Nine: -4 (+3/+1/-8)...Wolf and de Groot shot -3 on the back side today...Wolf was -5 for the tourney on holes 10-18.
- The Mocs obliterated their school and tournament record round of 283 (-5) with a 10-under par 278 performance...859 (-5) is also a school record for 54 holes (866, +2, 2009 JMU/Eagle Landing Invite)...UTC broke team record for low 18, low 36 and low 54-hole totals...6th par or better team round, 1st par or better tournament.
- 40 team birdies is a new season high as is 141 pars...Tied season high with 17 birdies today matching yesterday's total...Played 90.3 percent (65 of 72) of counting holes at par or better, 84.3% (182 of 216) over 54 holes...34 birdies, one eagle and 86 pars on its counting cards the final 36 holes.
- Wolf's -7 total is a new 54-hole school record (211, -5, Emma de Groot, 2008 Samford Women's Int.)...In this tourney alone, Wolf set school records for 36 and 54-hole totals as well as low 18 score with her 66 (-6) yesterday...14 birdies is a career high...5th par or better round of the season, 15th career...3rd round in the 60s season and career...9th round with three or more birdies this year.
- Chattanooga boasted four top 10s with de Groot (2nd), Maria Juliana Loza (6th) and Marion Duvernay (T9)...All six Mocs ended up in top 20 with individual Jordan Britt (T12) and Yushira Budhram (T17).
- de Groot's 67 (-5) is a career-best round...6 birdies, 11 pars and a lone bogey on her card...Team-best 6th par or better round, 31st career...10 birdies last two days after zero in round one with a season-high six today...9th time recording three or more this season...4th straight top 5 (19th career)...5th top 10 in 2010-11, 23rd career...-6 for her career at Eagle Landing.
- Marion Duvernay posted her 1st sub-par round in nine tries as a mid-season enrollee with a -1 71...3 birdies and 13 pars for the round...2nd par or better...1st top 10 finish.
- Maria Juliana Loza's E score today is her 2nd par or better round this season, 9th career...2nd top 10 this year, 5th career...3 of her top 10s have come in this event.
