TEAM
- The Lady Mocs fall to Samford 68-66 in overtime in the semifinals of the Southern Conference Tournament...UTC drops to 17-14 while Samford improves to 24-7.
- Samford's Emily London hit a jumper to give the Bulldogs a 15-12 lead with 10:36 left in the first half...both teams combined to go 0-19 from the field over the next nine minutes...the next FG was a layup by Samford's Brittany Jack with 1:49 left on the clock.
- The Lady Mocs started 2-12 from 3-pt. range, but hit three straight (Hall, Black and Lambert at the buzzer) in the last two minutes of the first half to take a 28-25 lead into the locker room...Lady Mocs made nine of their last 17 shots from behind the arc.
- Samford went 10-10 from the foul line in the first half...the Bulldogs made 18 of their first 20 shots from the foul line, but missed two front ends of a one-and-one last in overtime to give the Lady Mocs a chance.
- UTC went up 44-35 on a three from Bailey Dewart at the 14:07 mark in the second half...Samford went on a 10-0 run to take a 45-44 lead after a layup by Shelly Campbell at the 11:01 mark.
- Back-to-back three pointers from Taylor Hall gave the Lady Mocs a 59-52 lead with 3:08 left...Samford scored the last seven points in regulation to force overtime.
- Lady Mocs were 15-0 on the year when leading with 2:00 left in the game before today's lost.
- Samford also scored the first seven points in overtime for a 14-0 run.
- UTC is 0-3 in overtime this season.
- Lady Mocs are 27-5 in 13 appearances in the Southern Conference Tournament in the Wes Moore era.
- UTC is 0-3 vs. Samford this season...9-5 overall...this is the first time a Wes Moore-coached Chattanooga team has lost to one team three times in a season.

Junior Whitney Hood
- 16 points on 4-14 shooting, 8-9 from the FT line.
- Added five rebounds.
Freshman Taylor Hall
- Nine points on 3-4 shooting from 3-pt. range.
- Back-to-back threes with 3:00 left in the game gave UTC a 59-52 lead.
- Career-high for 3-pointers made.
Sophomore Kylie Lambert
- 17 points on 6-12 shooting, 3-5 from 3-pt. range and 2-4 from the FT line.
- Added a career-high 14 rebounds.
- Second-most boards by a Lady Moc in a game this season.
- Third double-double of the season.
- Career-high 38 minutes
Sophomore Kiara Smith
- Season-high five rebounds.
