TEAM
- UTC won its 29th straight home game with a 63-56 win over UAB. UTC improves to 3-1 overall while the Blazers drop 2-3 overall.
- Chattanooga's 29-game home court winning streak is the longest in school history and the second longest in the NCAA (Baylor – 50).
- UTC's current home court winning streak began with a 65-59 win over UAB on Nov. 11, 2011.
- Chattanooga had a season-high 41 rebounds tonight…outrebounded the Blazers by seven.
- UTC had a season-high 10 steals.
- The Lady Mocs got 31 points off the bench, including 12 each from junior Ka'Vonne Towns and freshman Chelsey Shumpert who tied for team-highs.
- UTC led by as many as 17 in the second half – 48-31 with 13:23 after a jumper by Faith Dupree. The Blazers outscored Chattanooga 16-3 over the next 7:30 to cut the lead to 51-47 with 5:54 left in the game.
- The game was still close, 55-51 with 2:15 left before UTC went 6-6 from the FT line to close out the game.

- Shot 2-14 from the field, but 6-7 from the FT line.
- Career-high for FG attempts.
Tatiana Jackson – So.-G
- Nine points in a career-high 32 minutes.
- Five boards, three assists, two blocks and a steal.
- Shot 3-6 from the field, 1-2 from 3-pt. range and 2-3 from the FT line.
Chelsey Shumpert – Fr.-G
- Season-high 12 points off the bench.
- First points of the season.
- No turnovers in 19 minutes off the bench at the point.
- Added four rebounds.
Ka'Vonne Towns – Jr.-G/F
- Career-high and team-high tying 12 points off the bench.
- Shot 4-6 from the field, 2-3 from 3-pt. range and 2-2 from the FT line.
- Tied a career-high with 28 minutes off the bench.
