ORANGE PARK, Fla. --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team moved into fifth place shooting seven-over par 295 today at the JMU Eagle Landing Invitational. UTC has a two-day total of 597, four shots behind host James Madison in fourth.
Agathe Sauzon (Valence, France) paced a consistent Mocs scoring effort today with a one-over par 73. Emily McLennan (Queensland, Australia), Mette Kryger (Nivaa, Denmark) and Isabella Loza (Bucaramanga, Colombia) each shot 74s for the plus seven team tally. Jordan Britt (Chattanooga, Tenn.) had the drop score with a 78.
McLennan leads UTC through 36 holes at plus one, 145. Sauzon moved into a tie for 18th at five over (149). Kryger (151), Loza (152) and Britt (158) round out the team scoring.
Marion Duvernay (Publier, France) and Porsche Campbell (Vancouver, Canada) are playing as individuals. Duvernay's two-under 70 today moved her into a tie for 11th at four-over 148. Campbell shot a second straight 75 and is tied for 22nd at 150.
Campbell leads by seven over Elon after today's 290 (+2). The Fighting Camels have a 36-hole total of 583 while the Phoenix's 590 is a shot clear of East Carolina in third at 591. The Pirates' Frida Gustafsson Spang leads individually at five under (139).
Chattanooga tees off No. 1 Sunday morning 8:40 a.m. Britt leads off followed by Loza (8:48), Kryger (8:56), Sauzon (9:04) and McLennan (9:12). Live scoring link is above or on the women's golf schedule page on GoMocs.com.
