PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. --- Sophomore Agathe Sauzon (Valence, France) finished tied for eighth shooting one-over par 217 at the Web.com Intercollegiate at Marsh Landing Country Club. Sauzon, who shot 73 today, led the Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team to a 12th-place finish in the event.

UTC shot 903 turning in a 302 today. Sauzon and Emily McLennan (Queensland, Australia) shot 73's today, while Jordan Britt (Chattanooga, Tenn.) and Porsche Campbell (Vancouver, Canada) tallied 78's. Isabella Loza (Bucaramanga, Colombia) turned in the drop score with a 79.

Sauzon carded 15 pars in today's final round which ties her and Loza's season-low mark. It gave her 41 total over the 54 holes which is a new season high by a Moc.

Britt and McLennan finished second and third on the squad, respectively. Britt shot 224 for the two days, while McLennan ended up at 227. Campbell (235) and Loza (236) rounded out the scoring.

No. 14 Purdue was the runaway winner at minus seven (857). It shot 283 (-5) to claim an eight-stroke triumph over Iowa State (865) which shot two under today, 286. No. 17 Texas Tech was a distant third. The Boilermakers Paula Reto won a playoff over the Red Raiders' Gabriella Dominguez after the duo ended up at minus four, 212.

Chattanooga heads into the postseason this Sunday at the Southern Conference Championship. The three-day, 54-hole event is at Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C., Sunday through Tuesday.
