University of Tennessee at Chattanooga sophomore Nic Wilson lost out in qualifying for the 2014 ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship today. He fell to host Vanderbilt's Jeff Offerdahl 6-3, 6-2 in Nashville.
The Mocs still have three singles and two doubles teams set to compete in Thursday's main draw. Junior John Peacey was bumped out of qualifying and into the main draw earlier today. He faces Morehead State's Nick Mercer in the first round.
Junior Luke Saunders is set to take on Murray State's Max Lean while junior Nick Wingord goes against a qualifier in the first round.
The tournament opens with doubles action on Thursday morning. Peacey and Wilson face Tennessee Tech's Oleksiy Arovin and Alberto Esteban. Wingord and Saunders also face a Golden Eagles squad. They take on Eduardo Mena and Alvaro Cintas in the first round.
