Post-Tournament Notes | Diane Thomason Invitational | Oct. 5, 2014
Best Finish of 2014-15
The fifth-place finish is the best of the season through three events. Chattanooga finished sixth opening the season at the Cardinal Cup and seventh at the prestigious Mason Rudolph Championship.
Weather, Difficult Course Cause Soaring Strokes
The Mocs shot two of their highest totals of the season with a season-high 325 in round one and 308 in the final round which ties for the second-highest score (Cardinal Cup Final Round) this year. Cold, windy weather and a challenging Finkbine Golf Course tract wreaked havoc with all 13 teams scoring. Chattanooga's 939 was 16 better than the tournament average of 955.

Agathe Sauzon was in the running for her third career victory before ending up tied for third. It's her best finish of the season and fourth Top 5 of her career. She led the tournament in par 4 scoring (+4) and tied for the tourney high in pars (35).
