- South Florida snapped the Mocs' 40-game home winning streak with today's 59-57 victory in McKenzie Arena … it was the nation's longest winning streak and a school-record run for UTC … the Mocs are 1-1 on the year, while USF improved to 2-0.
- UTC led 16-8 midway through the first half, but USF went on a 23-5 run to close out the first20 minutes and take a 21-31 halftime lead.
- Chattanooga held a five point lead 57-52, following a Ka'Vonne Towns three-pointer with 3:52 left to play … those were the last points of the game for UTC.
- USF dominated the paint, outrebounding UTC 39-24, 11-2 in second chance points and 24-16 in points in the paint.
