- Chattanooga defeated Austin Peay 76-65 tonight … Mocs improve to 3-2 overall while APSU drops to 1-3.
- The Mocs tied a season-high with 76 points tonight … UTC also had a season-high for FG attempts (68), FT attempts (24), steals (14) … tied season-highs in blocks (8) and assists (20).
- The Mocs were 1-10 from the floor and 1-4 from the FT line in the first seven minutes of play.
- Chattanooga trailed by eight (16-8) with 11:22 left in the half before going on a 16-4 run over the next seven minutes to take a 24-20 lead on a pair of Destiny Bramblett FTs at the 4:54 mark.
- APSU closed the half on a 15-4 run of their own for a 35-28 halftime advantage.
- The Lady Govs went up 43-33 on a Tiasha Gray jumper at the 15:38 mark … they would not make another shot from the field for the next 7:02 … Kristen Stainback finally ended the drought at the 8:36 mark … by that time, UTC had gone on a 25-4 run to go up 58-47.
- UTC dished out 20 assists for the second time this season.
- First time this season UTC has grabbed 14 steals.
- UTC dominated the paint 54-32 … 17 offensive rebounds and an 18-9 advantage in second-chance points.
- The Mocs also got 34 points off the bench.
- Jasmine Joyner (15 pts, 13 reb) and Keiana Gilbert (13 pts, 12 reb) both had double-doubles for the Mocs … first time with two in one game for UTC since a 59-54 win over Appalachian State on Jan. 26, 2013 … Taylor Hall (15 pts, 11 reb) and Ashlen Dewart (12 pts, 12 reb).

- Career-high eight rebounds … six on the offensive end.
Keiana Gilbert – Fr.-G
- First career double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
- 12 boards is a career-high … six offensive.
- Also had career-highs with six assists and four steals.
- Two blocks and 38 minutes tied a career-best.
- Shot 5-10 from the field, 1-2 from 3-pt. range and 2-4 from the FT line.
Jasmine Joyner – So.-F
- Second double-double of the season with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
- Added four blocks in 33 minutes.
- Shot 6-13 from the field and 3-6 from the FT line.
Chelsey Shumpert – So.-G
- 13 points … third-straight game in double figures.
