- The Chattanooga Mocs fell 57-52 to Arkansas State on the road … UTC falls to 4-3 overall while the Red Wolves improve to 3-2.
- This was the first meeting between the two teams.
- Chattanooga shot 44.7% for the game…UTC was 11-of-22 (50%) in the second half
- UTC had eight blocked shots in the game, tying for a game-best (8 vs. Austin Peay and Notre Dame)
- The Mocs had a season-high for turnovers with 20 … UTC gave up 19 points on turnovers and scored 13 points on 16 Red Wolves miscues.
- Chattanooga trailed by 16 with 6:36 to play and went on a 12-0 run over the next 4:27 to get to within four points, 56-52, with 1:23 to play.
- Arkansas State edged the Mocs in the paint 38-32 and had 13 second chance points off nine offensive rebounds compared to Chattanooga's six points off nine boards.
- Chattanooga's bench outscored the Red Wolves 18-8 led by Ka'Vonne Towns' 12 points.
- The Mocs outrebounded Arkansas State 32-30
- 52 points is the second fewest points scored by UTC this season and the fewest scored in a loss … lowest was 49 in win over Villanova.
