Chris Behrends averaged 19.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in 1998-99's three games. He had 24 points and seven boards in the February 4 overtime win in Chattanooga.
Brandon Born posted averages of 13.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in 10 career meetings with the Bucs. Brandon's numbers increased to 20.2 points and 7.6 boards per contest as a junior/senior. For his career, he shot 52.9 percent (45-85) from the floor, 38.5 percent (15-38) from 3pt range and 89.3 percent (25-28) from the free throw line.
Tim Brooks tallied 16.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game vs. the Bucs. His senior numbers were impressive as the Mocs broke ETSU's stranglehold on the conference averaging 21.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals in three games. His 22-point, 10-rebounds, 8-assist performance in the 87-77 January 27, 1993 home win was one of the Roundhouse's top performances.
Nicchaeus Doaks only played against the Bucs out of conference, but he played up to the rivalry game. He had 20 points and 10 rebounds shooting 5-7 from the field and 10-13 from the free throw line in an 82-78 win.
Mindaugas Katelynas was a man possessed in six games over his two years in Chattanooga. He tallied a double-double with 14.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per contest shooting 66.7 percent (36-54) from the floor.
Derrick Kirce certainly enjoyed facing ETSU. His line: 23.6 points and 8.8 rebounds per game with highs of 32 points and 12 rebounds in January 21, 1991 win over 15th-ranked Bucs. He scored 30+ twice and 20+ two more times in his five matchups.
Casey Long had a special 2004-05 season vs. ETSU. The current Mocs assistant posted 16. 3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.0 blocks and 3.0 steals per contest leading his squad to a 3-0 record. He hit 58.1 percent (18-31) of his shots including 52.9 from 3pt range (9-17) making three treys per game.
Keddric Mays played in just one game in the rivalry…but what a performance in the heart-breaking 70-69 overtime loss in Johnson City. Mays scored 26 points making 8-14 from 3pt range.
Stephen McDowell matched up twice with the Bucs and averaged 5.5 three-pointers made per game including a 28-point performance in a road loss. For his two meetings, Steph scored 23.5 points per game.
Keith Nelson is another Moc who averaged a double-double in a season against the Bucs. In 1991-92, he averaged 19.7 points and 10.0 boards per contest in three matchups.
Keith Parker topped 20 points twice in 1978-79 against ETSU with a high of 29 in Johnson City on December 18, 1978. His averages: 25.0 points and 8.0 rebounds shooting 68.0 percent (17-25) and 84.2 percent (16-19) from the free throw line.
Eric Smith tallied 21.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest vs. ETSU in the 1981 SoCon Championship season. The Hall of Famer tallied 14.9 points and 7.6 rebounds in seven career meetings.
Johnny Taylor had a thing for the Bucs as well to a tune of 26.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per in four games.
LaVert Threats played in six games against ETSU and shot 47.4 percent from 3pt range in his career. That includes 5-6 from beyond the arc in January 20, 1992 road win.
Willie White played in 11 games against ETSU and his teams went 8-3 as he averaged 16.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
Gerald Wilkins was 6-1 against the Bucs averaging 18.0 points and shooting 55.1 percent (54-98) from the field.
Toot Young scored 23 points in each of his two games vs. ETSU shooting 52.0 percent (13-25) from the floor, 47.4 percent (9-19) from 3pt range and 91.7 percent (11-12) in two wins.
