Post-Tournament Notes | Cardinal Cup | Sept. 15-16, 2014
Round 1 Ranks No. 2
The Mocs 297 over the first 18 holes is the second-best score in the nine totals the squad has tallied at the Cardinal Cup. Last year's team recorded a 293 in round two for the best score to date.
Par or Better for McLennan
Emily McLennan opened the tourney with a 2-under 70. It marked the 10th par or better card in her career. The 70 is her best score in nine rounds at the Cardinal Golf Course besting the 73 she shot three times before.
Sauzon Reaches Double Digits
Agathe Sauzon recorded 10 birdies over her 54 holes this week. That ties her career high set last year winning the Starmount Fall Classic. She had four birdies in rounds one and three which also ties a career best. Having two in the first three cards is impressive considering she did six times the whole of last season.
Par 5 Scoring
The Mocs shot +1 for the tournament on the par 5's. McLennan (-2) and Sarah Dolmovich (-1) were both under par the event on the four long holes, while Sauzon was level par.
Scoring by Hole Type
- Par 3: +15. Leader: McLennan +2.

- Par 5: +1. McLennan -2.
