Coots drops tough match to No. 5 seed.
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team wrapped up play at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional in West Lafayette, Ind., today.
Senior Kelsey Coots dropped a (6-1, 6-3) match to Kentucky's fifth-seeded Nadio Ravita this morning. Senior Kayla Jones had a schedule consolation match, but it was canceled.
"Kelsey played a highly competitive second set against one of the top players in our region,' stated head coach Jeff Clark. "We are looking forward to a strong finish to the fall at Alabama next month."
