• Chattanooga rallies past Samford 56-49 … improves to 24-3 overall and 12-0 in SoCon play … win is 20th straight for the Mocs and 46th straight SoCon regular season win … Samford falls 14-13 overall and 7-5 in SoCon play.
• The Mocs shot 25 percent in the first half making 6-of-24 … in the second half made 15-of-23 (65.2%) … shot 44.7 percent for the game.
• Samford was 4-of-19 (21.1%) from the floor in the first half … the Bulldogs were 50 percent (14-of-28) in the second half … shot 38.3% for the game.
• UTC was 4-of-6 from the free throw line in the first half and 8-of-8 in the second half … 12-of-14 (85.7%) is the second best shooting percentage this season.
• Samford was 9-of-12 from the free throw line in the first half, accounting for half of its points in the opening frame … Bulldogs were 0-of-1 from the charity stripe in the second half.
