The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team wrapped up regular season action with a match at Samford today.  The Mocs dropped the Southern Conference bout 6-1 in Birmingham, Ala.

UTC won the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead, but lost all six singles matches.  The Mocs dropped to 5-15 overall and 1-6 in SoCon action.  Samford improved to 8-10 overall and 2-4 in league matches. 

Junior John Peacey and sophomore Lucas Plesky defeated Trey Carter and Jake Faundez 8-6 at No. 1.  Senior Pavels Grigorjevs and sophomore Nic Wilson followed with an 8-6 win of their own over Austin Akers and Lourido Sanchez at No. 2. 

The Mocs now start preparing for the SoCon Tournament.  Action takes place in Greenville, S.C., on April 24-26.
