In the second half, Emig made three more saves and the Mocs had four shots with two on goal. Freshman Shelby Williams (Jackson, Tenn.) had the first of UTC's two shots on goal in the 61st minute. Sophomore Emily Moseley (Nashville, Tenn.) had two shots for Chattanooga getting close with a shot on goal at the 78:44 mark of the game.

The Bison added goals from Caroline Chadwell at the 64:18 mark in traffic to make it 2-0 and from Lindsay Brent in the 78th minute for the final tally.

Lipscomb, with eight goals on the night, outshot Chattanooga 17-5 with an 8-2 on goal advantage. Emig had five saves while Lipscomb's keeper Anna Buhigas made two.

"They made it hard for us and were our toughest test this season," McKinney said.
