TEAM
­- UTC scored a 77-59 win over Western Carolina to improve to 12-5 overall and 3-0 in Southern Conference action. The Catamounts drop to 4-13 overall and 0-3 in league play.

- 51^st consecutive SoCon win for the Mocs.  Last loss was at Elon (70-60) on Jan. 7, 2013.   Head coach Jim Foster is 35-0 in SoCon regular season games in just over three seasons at UTC.

- Mocs had a team single-game record with 12 blocks tonight … previous high was 11 at Kentucky on Nov. 30, 1981.

- 77 points is a season-high for Chattanooga. 

- UTC shot a season-best 30-57 (52.6%) from the floor.

- Mocs also had a season-high 19 assists in the game.

- UTC had four score in double figures for the first time this season – Alford 20, K. Gilbert 17, Payne 16, Joyner 13.

- Mocs won the battled on the boards (40-34) for the ninth time.  UTC is 10-0 when tying or outrebounding its opponent.    

INDIVIDUAL
Queen Alford – Jr.-G
- Game-high 20 points.
- Shot 7-11 from the field, 1-2 from 3-pt. range and 5-5 from the FT line.
- Led the team in scoring for the third time … second in last three games.
- Tied a career-high for scoring set last week at Wofford.
- Third-straight game in double-figures.
- 16.7 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 60.0% shooting from the field last three games.

Keiana Gilbert – So.-G
- 17 points on 8-12 shooting, 1-2 from the FT line.
- Added four boards.

Jasmine Joyner – Jr.-F
- Tied her own UTC single-game record with eight blocks…last time was at Notre Dame on Nov. 21, 2014.
- Scored 13, points, nine boards and four assists in just 27 minutes.
- 5-9 from the field and 3-3 from the FT line.
- Topped 250 career blocks in the game… 255 is already a school record.
- Topped 500 career rebounds (507).

Alicia Payne – Sr.-G
- Career-high 16 points.
- Shot 5-7 from the field, 1-1 from 3-pt. range and 5-5 from the FT line.
- Added six assists and two steals in 35 minutes.
- First time in double-figures this season.
- Tied a season-high for assists.
- Tied a career-high for FGs made.
