TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 72-61 win over UNCG today.  UTC improves to 12-5 overall and undefeated in Southern Conference action at 4-0.  The Spartans dropped to 8-11 and 0-5 in the league.

- 52nd consecutive SoCon win for the Mocs.  Last loss was at Elon (70-60) on Jan. 7, 2013.   Head coach Jim Foster is 36-0 in SoCon regular season games in three seasons at UTC.

- UNCG outscored the Mocs 25-16 in the third quarter to take a 48-47 lead into the final 10 minutes.

- The game was tied 56-56 following a Lucy Mason layup with 4:50 left to play, but the Mocs went on a 10-0 run over the next 3:39 to put the game away … UTC was 2-2 from the field and 6-6 from the FT line in that final spurt. 

- Mocs led 31-23 at the break to improve to 11-0 when leading at the half this season.

- UTC had four score in double figures for the second-straight game and the second time this season – Alford 20, Joyner 18, A. Gilbert 14, K. Gilbert 12.

- The Mocs dominated the glass 42-24 … +18 rebound advantage is the largest this season … four in a row winning the rebound battle … 10-0 when outrebounding opponents. 

- 3-0 when scoring 70+ points … second in a row.

- 21^st consecutive win over UNCG … 38-6 all-time … 16-3 at home.

- UNCG's Lucy Mason scored 26 points in the loss … most allowed to an individual by UTC this season.

- Both Alicia Payne and Jasmine Joyner played all 40 minutes for the Mocs … Mason played 40 for UNCG.

- 37 Assists and 23 blocks last two games for UTC.

- Mocs made a season-high 19 FTs in the win … 19-22 (86.4%) … 12-14 from the FT line in last three minutes of the game.

- Mocs took a season-low seven three-point FG attempts … 1-7 (14.3%).   

INDIVIDUAL
Queen Alford – Jr.-G
- Team-high and tied a career-high with 20 points.
- Team-best third 20-point game of the season … second in a row … third in last four.
- Led the team in scoring three of last four games.
- Shot 5-9 from the field and 10-11 from the FT line.
- Most FTs made since talyor hall had 11 against Georgia Southern on Feb. 3, 2014. 
- 9-10 from the FT line in the fourth quarter.
- Added four boards.
- Fourth-straight game in double-figures.
- 17.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 59% from the field last four games.

Keiana Gilbert – So.-G
- 12 points on 5-9 shooting, 1-2 from 3-pt. range and 1-1 from the FT line.
- Added four boards, three assists and two  blocks.

Aryanna Gilbert – So.-G
- Season-high 14 points.
- Shot 7-8 from the field.
- Added five boards and a career-high four blocks.
- Second game in double-figures this season.
- 11-14 (78.6%) from the field last two games.

Jasmine Joyner – Jr.-F
- 18 points and a game-high 14 boards.
- Fifth double-double of the season.
- Shot 8-15 from the field … 2-4 from the FT line.
- Added four assists, two blocks and two steals.
- Topped 700 points (713) for her career.
