Saturday – Jan. 16, 2016TEAM- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 72-61 win over UNCG today. UTC improves to 12-5 overall and undefeated in Southern Conference action at 4-0. The Spartans dropped to 8-11 and 0-5 in the league.
- 52nd consecutive SoCon win for the Mocs. Last loss was at Elon (70-60) on Jan. 7, 2013. Head coach

- UNCG outscored the Mocs 25-16 in the third quarter to take a 48-47 lead into the final 10 minutes.
- The game was tied 56-56 following a Lucy Mason layup with 4:50 left to play, but the Mocs went on a 10-0 run over the next 3:39 to put the game away … UTC was 2-2 from the field and 6-6 from the FT line in that final spurt.
- Mocs led 31-23 at the break to improve to 11-0 when leading at the half this season.
