GERMANTOWN, Tenn.---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team is in eighth after 36 holes at the Memphis Women's Intercollegiate. The squad turned in rounds of 307 and 314 for a 621 total. They're two shots behind South Alabama in seventh and three clear of Western Kentucky in ninth.

The opening 18 was paced by
Monica San Juan with a 75.
Holly Morgan and
Maria Pineiro each had 77s with
Cristina Perez carding 78. The second round was led by Morgan's 77. Pineiro, Perez and
Megan Woods rounded out the counters with 79s.

Morgan is tied for 19th leading UTC with a 154. San Juan is one off her pace at 155 with Pineiro at 156. Perez turned in 157 followed by Woods with 162.

Host Memphis owns the lead at 598. Houston Baptist is a shot back at 599 with Murray State in third with 604. Cal State Fullerton's Martina Edberg is the individual leader at 1-under 141.

The Mocs return to Ridgeway Country Club for a 9:15 a.m., Eastern time shotgun start. They're grouped with South Alabama and WKU. The two-day, 54-hole event starts Monday and ends Tuesday. Click the links above for 36-hole results, live scoring and pairings.
