KIAWAH ISLAND---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team is in fifth place at the Palmetto Intercollegiate. Monday's 299 (+11) gives the Mocs a two-day total of 591 (+15) with 18 holes to play at Turtle Point in the Kiawah Island Resort.

Sophomore
Monica San Juan followed up yesterday's 70 with a 73. Her 1-under total of 143 is tied for second, one shot off the pace set by Coastal Carolina's Malene Krolboll Hansen.

CCU (577) holds a six-shot lead over Ole Miss (583) in second. Campbell and host College of Charleston are tied for third at 586, five ahead of the Mocs.

San Juan's 73 led today's effort.
Holly Morgan and
Cristina Perez each turned in 75, while
Megan Woods' 76 rounded out the counting cards.
Maria Pineiro had the drop score with a 77.

Morgan joins San Juan in the top 20. Her 4-over 148 is tied for 19th. Pineiro is two behind her at 150, with Perez another stroke back at 151. Woods has a 155 over the 36 holes.
