The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team finished fifth in the UNF Collegiate.
RESULTS | NOTES
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team finished fifth at the UNF Collegiate Tuesday. UTC shot a final round 298 for a total of 904. That was four strokes out of a tie for third by Campbell and College of Charleston at 900.
Today's 298 matched yesterday's second round total as well. It also tied No. 25 Texas for the second-best team effort on Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Emily McLennan and Megan Woods each recorded top 20s. McLennan tied for 14th with a 7-over 223, while Woods tied for 16th at +9.
Cris Perez had today's low round for a Moc firing a level-par 72. She tied for 26th at +12. Monica San Juan tied for 35th at +14 as Isabella Loza ended +20 tying for 60th.
Houston (878) claimed the win by 10 over the Longhorns (888). The Cougars' duo of Megan Thothong and Emily Gilbreth tied for medalist honors shooting 1-over 217.
