"They're a good team, but we emotionally, physically first half we were not what we needed to be. Three games in five days, 40 minutes and not having the substitutions at some positions. I thought in the second half they stopped feeling sorry for themselves, and got more aggressive and more good things started to happen."

"Lakelyn, we talked to her about tempo and speeds and fakes. In the first half she played 100 mph and the second half she had a couple of very nice field goals. For her to grow as a player that has to become part and parcel to who she is to be able to play both sides of the floor."
 
Thoughts on the play of Arianne Whitaker
"I thought Arianne Whitaker had a good game except for the turnovers. The other dimensions, the 10 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and three steals, she had a good floor game and played very, very hard for two games in a row. Scoring today maybe a little bit difficult because the big kid Alarie is a very good player."

"She's long and knows how to use that length.We didn't do a very good job of her at distance. She's big size and we know some rebounds are just going to go to her, but when she comes from a distance it means we didn't box her away."

On lack of depth
"Goes back to the first half of no juice, no energy. We found it in the second half which is a good sign. No doubt we need some players back, need more depth. Players who are sick are going to get healthy and get back and the players who are injured, hopefully will get around quicker."
