TEAM
• Chattanooga fell in overtime at UNCG 75-72 … Mocs fall to 15-10 overall and 9-2 in SoCon … UNCG improves to 15-12, 6-6 SoCon
 
• First loss to UNCG since 1/2/07 in Chattanooga … snapped the Mocs 23-game win streak over the Spartans and just UTC's second loss to UNCG in 38 games … Mocs now 17-3 in Greensboro.
 
• Chattanooga is a half-game behind Mercer in the league standings after the Bears beat Wofford Thursday night and improved to 10-2 in league play … the Mocs must win out in order to have at least a share of the title.
 
• The Mocs led 11-3 in the first quarter with 3:21 to play in the period … UNCG outscored the Mocs 12-2 including a last second 3-pointer, to lead UTC 15-13 at the end of the first.
 
• UNCG started the third quarter with three straight 3-pointers to take a 39-33 lead with 7:37 to play in the frame … Spartans started overtime on a 7-0 run to take a 74-67 lead.
 
• The Spartans outrebounded UTC 41-34 and converted 17 offensive rebounds into 24 points compared to UTC's 10 points on 11 offensive boards.
 
• Chattanooga outscored UNCG 30-26 in the paint … UNCG's bench outscored the Mocs 19-11 … scored was tied eight times and the lead changed seven times.
 
• UTC was 14-15 from the free throw line … second best percentage (.933) this season … 15 fouls by the Mocs ties for the most by UTC this season
 
• UNCG was 10-of-16 from the 3-point line … best percentage by a UTC opponent this season.
 
• 15 Spartan free throws is the most by a Mocs' opponent this year and 20 attempts matches the 20 attempted by Notre Dame, an opponent-best
