Mocs in 10th after 36 Holes at Brickyard Collegiate

Holly Morgan’s second round 72 (E) served as the Chattanooga Mocs low round in today’s 36 holes.

MACON---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team stands in 10th after 36 holes at the Brickyard Collegiate. The Mocs navigated Brickyard Golf Course at 308 in the morning 18 before turning in 304 in the afternoon.
 
The 612 total is just one behind Maryland ninth. It's two clear of Jacksonville in 11th and six ahead of Middle Tennessee in 12th.
 
Holly Morgan led the squad at 6-over 150. She's 25th overall following an opening 78 with a level-par 72 in the afternoon. That's two ahead of Cristina Perez who is tied for 31st at 152.
 
Perez and Megan Woods had the low round of the AM session shooting 76.  Monica San Juan finished the team score with 78. Perez and San Juan each carded 76 in round two with an 80 from Woods rounding out the team score.
 
Furman leads with an 8-over 584.Texas A&M is second at 587 followed by Augusta in third at 593. The Paladins' Haylee Harford is the individual leader at even-par 144.
 
Notable
Holly Morgan's second round 72 is her team-leading seventh par or better score in 2016-17. That ties for 10th all-time with Emma de Groot (2010-11) and Emily McLennan (2013-14).
