- The Mocs dropped a 71-50 Southern Conference game to Mercer today … UTC falls to 13-8 overall and 4-3 in SoCon games … Mercer improved 20-2 overall and 7-0 in league games.

- Jim Foster falls short in his first attempt at win No. 900 … 899-342 – 40th year … 116-35 – 5th year at UTC … trying to become the eighth NCAA women's basketball coach with 900 wins.  

- Mercer snaps UTC's 53-game home SoCon winning streak … last loss at home in league play was to Appalachian State (57-56) on Feb. 14, 2011.

- UTC is 16-3 all-time against Mercer … 8-1 at home.

- Mercer dominated the boards 41-24 … 11-5 on the offensive end and 12-3 on second-chance points.

- 24 boards for UTC tied a season-low.

- 71 points are the third most allowed by UTC this season … most in SoCon regular season play in regulation under Jim Foster … most in regular season regulation since allowing 71 to Appalachian State in an 80-71 win on Feb. 27, 2012. 

- UTC took a season-low four FTs … made the all.

- There were just 19 combined turnovers in the game … nine for the Mocs tied for second-fewest this season … UTC led 13-5 in points off turnovers.

- Double-figures in four of last five games.

Aryanna Gilbert – Sr.-G
- 11 points on 4-11 shooting, 1-3 from 3-pt. range and 2-2 from the FT line.
- Team-high five rebounds.  

Mya Long – Fr.-G
- Tied a season-high with seven points.
- Shot 3-10 from the field and 1-3 from 3-pt. range.
- Season-high 16 minutes off the bench.

- Tied a season-high with 10 points.
- Shot 5-7 from the field.
- Added four boards in 19 minutes.
