The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's and women's tennis programs had a big weekend on campus.  On Friday, the Mocs officially opened the brand new UTC Tennis Center, followed by men's and women's alumni matches on Saturday. 

UTC Chancellor Steve Angle opened the dedication ceremonies that included remarks from Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Mark Wharton and Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management and Student Success and Interim Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Dr. Yancy Freeman.

The new UTC Tennis Center is located on the same site as the previous courts and was part of the West Campus Housing project.  There is a new office and locker room space for both programs, with three competition courts on each side of the building.
