- UTC has lost its last five games after starting the season 4-2 … the last time UTC lost at least five consecutive games was in Craig Parrott's last season, 1997-98 at the end of the season.
- Chattanooga is 23-23 all-time in overtime games and 20-21 in single overtime games.
- The Mocs went on a 13-2 run that started with 1.1 seconds to play in the first quarter and was capped off with 3:34 to play in the second quarter … UTC led 25-24.
- The largest lead by UTC was 38-33 as a result of a 10-2 run in the third quarter.
- The game was tied 10 times and the lead changed nine times.
- Chattanooga's bench outscored UNC's 15-5 led by Rochelle Lee's eight points.
