- The Mocs dropped a 71-54 contest to South Dakota State in McKenzie Arena tonight.  UTC falls to 4-6 overall while the Jackrabbits improved to 5-3. 

- This is the fourth loss in a row for the Mocs. 

- SDSU shot 30-50 (60.0%) for the game … 9-21 (42.9%) from three … 21-29 (72.4%) from inside the arc … Mocs have allowed last two opponents to shoot 505 from the field … SDSU's 60% from the field is the highest allowed by UTC since UT Martin shot 60.4% (32-53) in an 87-82 Chattanooga overtime win on Dec. 2, 2017. 

- Mocs were outscored in the paint 36-18. 

- UTC committed a season-low five fouls.

- Chattanooga cut the lead to six (41-35) in the third quarter following an Eboni Williams basket in the paint with 5:19 on the clock … SDSU closed the period on a 14-5 run.

Lakelyn Bouldin – Jr.-G
- Game-high 18 points on 7-13 shooting, 4-6 from three.
- Double-figures in all but two games this season.
- Second game this season with 4+ threes.

Mya Long – So.-G
- 12 points in 20 minutes off the bench.
- Shot 3-9 from the field, 2-5 from three and 4-5 from the FT line.
- Second game in a row in double-figures … third this season. 

Eboni Williams – Fr.-F
- Team-high six rebounds.
- Added five points in 25 minutes off the bench.
