Head Coach Foster
Opening statement
"We are a team right now that doesn't have an identity. We're a team that doesn't share the ball. We're a team that, up until two weeks ago [today], was first or second in the country with fewest fouls committed and we walk out and commit 17. So if we're not passing the ball and we're not staying out of foul trouble, we're giving them opportunities to score.

"It's not often you lose a game when you hold a team to 30 percent from the field.  I didn't think people coming off the bench were prepared. I think some of the people that are out there keep trying things that on a daily basis we're trying to break them of habits.  They're going back to them over and over again. It's just time for some to grown up. It's time for this team to take responsibility for who we are. Because who we are right now is not good enough.

"We had three terrific days of practice. Everything you could want to happen in practice happened. Ball movement, intensity, play hard, all the things. You come into a game it's like we don't trust each other. We don't have any faith in each other. We throw the ball to someone hoping they'll do something not taking responsibility for our own action.

"It all comes back on my shoulders. I'm not doing a good job coaching this basketball team. Pure and simple."

How do you get that trust…
"We'll start again tomorrow. Again, it surfaces in the games. We couldn't have had three days of better practice for a lot of things. You get in the game and you have people who aren't in position, don't work hard to get there, let other people get position on you over and over again and you don't take it personally. You get caught deep underneath the basket trying to play post defense. Impossible; can't happen. The deeper you get the more trouble you're in. The deeper you get help can't come get that far. There's ten things I can talk about.

"The bottom line is until we figure out that we want to be coached, that we want to get better, and that the staff collectively knows more than we know and maybe we should start listening to them. Red [Alicia Payne], Ka'Vonne [Towns], Katie [Burrows], they all played here on championship teams. They're hurting. I don't know how many people feel this with this group.

"It's hard to stay on top. It's a lot harder to stay on top than it is to get on top. So I'm really questioning how tough we are, how motivated we are, and just who we want to be. It's hard because everybody wants a piece of you. There are kids in the last couple of weeks that hadn't beaten Chattanooga and they're seniors. They're coming; they're hungry. We're not. We don't play that way."

On the three point shooting tonight…
"I don't think our threes were falling tonight. Going 2-18 we could have focused more on penetrating. I don't feel like we got enough offensive rebounds off of those 3's."

"I don't think we were going after enough rebounds offensively. There's nights when shots aren't falling and then we weren't doing the little things defensively to get stops on the other end."

On struggling to get the lead back in the fourth quarter…
"We didn't get enough stops. We weren't hitting shot, getting enough rebounds, things like that."

Did it seem like they were going to the line a lot?
"Definitely. We fouled way more than we should have. We just have to get more disciplined. We're a team that doesn't usually foul, so we just have to get back to who we are and stope doing things outside of who we are."
