- Chattanooga fell 70-66 in double overtime to UNCG in the quarterfinal round of the Southern Conference Tournament … UTC is 17-12 overall.
 
- Jim Foster's first loss in the Southern Conference Tournament.
 
- Snapped a 15-game SoCon Tournament streak by the Mocs … UTC won the last five SoCon Tournaments.
 
- UTC's first loss in the SoCon Tournament Quarterfinal Round since falling 55-50 to ETSU in 2005 at Maclellan Gym.
 
- Mocs trailed 45-34 with 1:33 to play in the third quarter … Mocs went on a 17-0 run to take a 51-45 lead with 3:22 to play in regulation … UNCG retook the lead, 52-50, on an 8-0 run with 0:07 to play in regulation … Burns hit a layup to put it into overtime.
 
- Burns scored all seven points in overtime to force double-overtime … She made both of UTC's 3-pointers in double-overtime and scored all 13 points in extra time.
 
- Nadine Soliman was held scoreless in the game until her final two free throws to seal the win.
 
- Teams were even 28-28 in the paint … Mocs had 14 points off 16 UNCG turnovers … UNCG had 10 points off 15 offensive rebounds compared to UTC's five points on 11 offensive boards.
 
- UNCGs bench outscored the Mocs 34-9 led by Aluxus Willey (16) and Mangela Ngandjui (18).
 
- UTC's first loss this season in overtime … Mocs are 23-22 in overtime … 1-2 in double overtime.
 
- Mocs wore the #33 on their uniform and placed the #33 jersey on the bench for teammate Lakelyn Bouldin who was with her family following the death of her father.
