Chattanooga head coach Jim Foster
On the mentality of the fourth quarter:
"I think we played like freshmen early and like veterans by the end of the game. You saw two freshmen play about as well as you can play. I think our freshmen grew a lot tonight."
 
On the different lineup
"Not a lot of preparation time. I thought we handled the situation very well. They had excuses if they wanted to quit and they didn't. I like that a lot about them. I think they learned a lot about themselves in the last 10 days."
 
On the Gilbert sisters
"The biggest change is their communication. Ary went from not saying much to being in charge on the floor. The team really respects them."
 
 
Guard Brooke Burns
On getting settled into the game:
"It started with the Samford game at home. I was comfortable from the start tonight. My teammates helped me get adjusted once I got in."
 
On what it took to win the game
"We were just trying to get stops. I didn't feel like it was about me, it was about everyone."
 
 
Aryanna Gilbert
On Lakelyn's jersey being on the bench:
"Shelbie Davenport put No. 33 on the bench. I truly hated that Lakelyn couldn't be here. I wanted to get this win so we could have an opportunity to get her back. We played for her tonight, and I hate that we couldn't finish it for her."

"I'm really proud of our team tonight. We have a team that just never gives up. We've been successful in overtime games. We view them as opportunities. I'm really proud of the super play from Mangela Ngandjui. These are the games she lives for. I'm really proud of our team's resilience and understanding of how to handle a really good team. Chattanooga is an outstanding team. Jim is an outstanding coach and we are just happy to move forward."

"We just want to give our condolences to No. 33 [Lakelyn Bouldin}. It's really unfortunate what happened and our team is sending prayers for her family."
