BATON ROUGE---The Chattanooga Mocs are tied for eighth with 18 holes to play at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic. The Mocs turned in 316 over their second 18 at the University Club in tough, windy conditions.
 
Cristina Perez led the way with a 1-over par 73. Monica San Juan, Megan Woods and Maddy McDanel each contributed 81 to the team tally. Holly Morgan's 83 was the drop score.
 
Perez's day propelled her 21 spots up the leaderboard. Her two-day total of 152 is tied for eighth over. That's two better than San Juan who's tied for 12th at 154. The squad is locked in eighth with Southern Miss at 631.
 
Houston continues to lead at 602. Host LSU is in second at 613 with No. 25 Virginia in third at 619. The Cougars' Megan Thothong stays atop the leaderboard at E.
