Mocs Fall at Samford 6-1

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team lost at Samford 6-1 today. Junior Delaney Edwards posted the only win in singles action for Chattanooga.
The Mocs were swept in doubles, and it took Edwards' three-set win to avoid the shutout. Junior Caroline Hall nearly pulled out a three-set win of her own at No. 3.
The Mocs are 6-5 overall and 2-1 in league matches, while the Bulldogs improved to 8-7, and 2-0 in Southern Conference matches.
Up next for UTC is a 1:00 p.m. match tomorrow at Alabama State in Montgomery, Ala.
