Chattanooga vs. Wofford
McKenzie Arena – Chattanooga, Tenn.
Thursday – Jan. 17, 2018

Katie Burrows, Head Coach
Opening statement after win over Wofford.
"Thankfully we were sharing the ball, we were getting to the foul line, we were hitting shots because our defense was not there, this was a shootout. If people were here looking for defense this was the wrong gym. It was a very frustrating to coach in that sense. Our transition defense has got to be better. The effort and the grit and just continuing to stick with what we do well on the offensive end. We need to continue that work because that is where we've struggled, and we can't take steps backwards."

On performing well on offense and pulling out big win.
"We are just doing so much better on the offensive end of moving it and sharing it and being patient and getting people the ball. I'm proud of us for clicking, we just can't go backwards in that area. I want to work on shot selection. There was times where I felt like our shot selection was poor, and there was a time in the third quarter where I felt like we were rushing things, when there was no need to. You know they're a good team, they're a force, we were very fortunate to win this ball game."

On the play of Lakelyn Bouldin & Eboni Williams.
"She (Lakelyn) was getting the job done, we look to Lakelyn lot because she has a lot of stuff to her game, it's not just threes. She also had five assists, she shared the ball too it wasn't just about her.
She (Eboni) played 33 minutes with one foul tonight so I'm getting a little more confidence in her.  We need her out there, she brings so much to the table."

Lakelyn Bouldin, Jr.-G
On finishing with double-double 26 points and 12 rebounds.
"I honestly really don't even care about that (double-double) as long as we are winning and playing good ball, that is all I care about. I was just trying to not force anything and let it come to me, we got to a point where we were taking too quick of shots, so I think just slowing it down and moving the ball is when we got good looks."

On getting ready for what's next.
"I think we were just playing good team ball, I think we trusted each other tonight more than we have in past games and I think that we are just starting to get comfortable and things are starting to click. We've got to focus on getting our bodies recovered and getting plenty of rest to get ready for Saturday, and just get ready to focus on Furman and what they do."

Eboni Williams, Fr.-F
On progressing with the flow of the game.
"At first I thought that I was kind of rushing it, making quick shots but then Coach told me to slow down and then I got right in the groove."

On getting key defensive stops.
"We kept getting stops when we really needed to by attacking them. On the other end, we were fortunate enough to be also scoring."
