Head Coach Katie Burrows
Opening thoughts on the game:
"We were quite stagnant in the first half.  We kept telling them we have to move the ball and we have to push tempo.  That is what we have been so successful with.  Honestly, I just got on to them a little bit and said we are going to play like we practice.  I wasn't really pleased with our practice this week.  I wasn't really pleased with our practice last week either.   The fire and the energy hasn't been there.  When you are at home, you can feed off the crowd and the home court advantage.  Then you come here and to only lose by seven and then know that we could have given a better effort in the first half is very frustrating.

"To give up 50 rebounds to our 31.  They had 17 offensive.  That's absurd.  We have to do a better job of keeping them off the boards.

"It is very frustrating to look at the stat sheet.  We only had six turnovers, but we only had nine assists.  I thought we dribbled the ball a little too much at times.  We were 11-20 from the foul line.  We had been shooting foul shots great.  We had been shooting them really well.  Then we come out shoot 11-20.

"They were only 8-10.  They only took 10 to our 20.  We got to the line.  We just weren't hitting.

"We have a lot to clean up before Saturday's game.  We have to come together as a group and do a better job of bringing the energy early on.  It has to be who you are every day."

On the scoring in the game:
"They only scored 65.  We thought if we could hold them to 60 or less.  The unfortunate thing is they got 65.  They were knocking down those shots and giving themselves an opportunity to win.  The unfortunate side was our first half.  We did a lot of good things.  Overall our first half was just not where it needed to be.  So we just had to work that much harder in the second half."
