Head Coach Katie Burrows
Opening thoughts on the game:
"I just kept telling them that they have to guard one-on-one. If we let them get in the paint and we have to help, they were kicking out for threes.  Also, make them hit those shots contested going to the rim instead of giving them wide open threes with their feet set.  We finally started to figure that out just doing a better job of staying in front of them all together.  We guarded their screen actions a little better.

"Abby really did a great job of being able to guard on the perimeter and also being able to take it inside.  She is just a force.  She is just so disciplined in keeping her hands straight up.  Last game, for us it was Arianne.  She was very disciplined for us.  Our post players are really starting to come along and do their job.  Even with Abby hitting a couple of these little jump shots on the baseline."

More on the play of Abby Cornelius:
"Let's just look at her stat line.  She was 7-7 from the field, and those were not all layups.  She is hitting jump shots.  She had five rebounds, no turnovers and four blocks.  She is taking care of the ball.  That is pretty darn tough as a freshman.  Every time she gets into the ball game, she is productive."

On the play of Lakelyn Bouldin:
"She was 8-9 from the field.  She couldn't miss.  She had a couple of turnovers and I wasn't really sure.  I will have to go back and look at the film to see if her footwork wasn't such.  Her 19 points was a hug lift for us."

More on the overall play of the team:
"We finally started getting to the foul line in the second half.  We just continued to be aggressive.  We shared the ball really well.  We didn't win the battle on the boards today, but we did shoot it much better.  Seventeen assists and six turnovers is excellent."

On the turnaround in the fourth quarter:
"Just telling them to continue to attack downhill and draw that help.  They couldn't stay in front of us and we knew that.  We knew that we could be aggressive in that way and letting it come to us.  We were forcing things in the first half. Once we realized, let's just be patient and move it and find the gaps.  We also pushed the tempo a little bit better in the second half.  We were pushing the ball up the floor and attacking initially and not letting them get set in their defense.  They are very disciplined for the most part.  They don't give up a whole lot of fast break points.  They didn't give up any to us tonight, but we certainly moved the ball better.  Specifically, midway through the third and into the fourth quarter."
