TEAM
- The Mocs scored a 72-58 win over Western Carolina to improve to 10-11 overall and 5-1 in the SoCon race.  WCU fell to 4-17 and 0-6 in league games.

- UTC trailed 17-16 at the end of the first quarter, but used an 8-0 to start the third period to take over the game. 

- Mocs are 76-11 all-time against WCU … 36-5 at home … won 19 in a row. 

- UTC shot 25-58 (43.1%) from the field, 6-24 (25.0%) from three and 16-23 (69.6%) from the FT line … tied a season-high in three-point attempts (at Hampton 11/16).

- Mocs committed 13 turnovers, breaking a streak of four games with 10 or less.

- Nine steals in the game is the most in SoCon play this season. 

- Western Carolina was only able to suit eight players due to injuries.  

- Mocs bench outscored WCU 39-11.

INDIVIDUAL
Lakelyn Bouldin – 33 – Jr.-G
- 11 points on 2-8 shooting, 2-6 from three and 5-5 from the FT line.
- Added four  boards.

Brooke Burns – 23 – So.-G
- Team-high 14 pionts.
- Shot 6-10 from the field, 1-3 from three and 1-2 from the FT line.
- Eighth game in double-figures.
- Tied for game-high with four assists.
- Added five boards for the second game in a row. 

Shelbie Davenport – 22 – Sr.-G
- Nine points and three assists.
- Shot 3-6 from the field, 1-1 from three and 2-2 from the FT line.

Mya Long – 3 - So.-G
- Tied a career-high with four rebounds.
- Added five points.

Arianne Whitaker – 4 – Jr.-F
- 13 points off the bench.
- Shot 6-8 from the field and 1-3 from the FT line.
- Fourth game in double figures this season. 
- Tied for team-high with six boards.

Liz Wood – 00 – Fr.-G
- Grabbed her first career rebound.
